Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill says' "he plans to retire after 2025 season

Tyreek Hill, a wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins, is already thinking about his NFL exit.

Hill, who turned 29 in March, stated on Wednesday that he intends to continue playing for three more years on Sports Radio 810 WHB.

. Hill has made the Pro Bowl every season of his career and is also a four-time All-Pro.

Since he began playing in the league in 2016, he has also ranked third in receiving touchdowns, fourth in yards per reception, fourth in receptions, and seventh in receiving yards per game.

Hill had a fantastic six-year career with the Kansas City Chiefs until being moved to the Miami Dolphins in the 2022 offseason.

He agreed to a hefty four-year, $120 million deal extension with the Dolphins, which according to Over the Cap pays him a league-leading $30 million yearly.

Hill's deal technically goes through the 2026 campaign and includes a $43.9 million basic pay, but that season is an empty year with no guarantees whatsoever.

Hill most likely did this to coincide with the expiration of the Dolphins' contract and his tenth season. Or perhaps he just thinks he won't get that base pay in 2026.
